Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Parish (Elmwood-East Kildonan) is currently seeking an energetic and self-motivated person to fill the position of Parish Receptionist and Secretary. The successful candidate will be highly organized with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, possess ability to work with confidential information, and will have proven experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Publisher and Intuit Quickbooks software. On September 7 our parish was visited by Roman Kowaliv, a 26-year-old subdeacon from Lviv. He is visiting Canada upon the invitation of Fr. Trush in Hamilton, Ontario. His interests brought him to Winnipeg and his hosts wanted him to see our church and meet a few of the parishioners. He loved our church and the iconography. He told us that being at the Divine Liturgy that morning reminded him of his home in Ukraine. Roman has finished his studies at our seminary in Rudno and is looking forward to ordination to the priesthood in the future. Please remember him in your prayers.
